Man chases chama women from his house for supporting Rigathi Gachagua in Kirinyaga.

Residents of Kaitheri in Kirinyaga county witnessed an unusual event at the home of mr Githua after women were seen running away from his home. The women had assembled at mr Githuas home, something they have always done in the last 5 years for their chama, a group they had started with mr Githuas wife as their chairlady.

On this day, the women had finished their official engagements and were having a discussion on the current affairs of the country. According to one Of the women in the chama, there was an outcry of anger on how the deputy president was being treated by the president and the women were hoping that the senate would not remove the DP from office.

In the middle of their heated discussion, Mr Githua walked in, took hold of his wife hand and removed her from the meeting, the women were left shocked not knowing what to do, afew seconds later, Mr Githua walked in and asked them to leave his house, he had a big stick in his hand and the women had to scamper for safety.

When Githua was asked why he did that, he said that he could not stand listening to the women discrediting the president and making a hero of the deputy president, a man he has never come to like. The women vowed never to hold their chama in that house again.
