How Judiciary Halted the Swearing in of Kithure Kindiki

Details are emerging how Chief Justice Martha Koome and Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu resisted numerous calls to allow the court of appeal to have a session at night to give the go ahead for the swearing in of Kithure Kindiki.
Judges of the court of appeal despite calls from Government quarters refused to hold a sitting saying that they could only do so with the permission from the Chief Justice. Without the resistance from the Chief Justice and her deputy, kithure Kindiki would by now have been sworn in as the Deputy President of Kenya
