President Ruto has been considered a man who makes calculated steps in every political decision he has made throughout his political career. He managed to rise from being a roadside chicken seller to the president of this country through political maneuvers that dumbfounded both friends and foe. His latest political move of divorcing people from the mountain, the same people who voted to a man to make him president in favor of Hon raila Odinga has left many wondering whether he has made a great mistake.

Its a classic case of putting all your eggs in one basket. A month ago, Ruto was a very powerful president. He literally had the support of almost all the major communities in Kenya. he had managed to balance between the two opposing block, Azimio and Kenya kwanza both fighting for his attention. By pushing away people from the mountain, he has pegged his political survival on one Raila Odinga with no assurance that raila will back him to the end. President Ruto will heavily depend on Raila to push his agenda through but if Raila decides to turn his back on him, he might find himself in a deep hole that he may not be able to climb out
