They say when two bulls fight the grass suffers. In the case of the president verse his deputy president, the fall of Gachagua will have serious repercussions towards all his political appointees. Most notably, the former Embakasi west MP hon George Theuri who has been a close confidant of the deputy president will have to relinquish his position as the youth adviser to in the office of the deputy president.

This will be a big blow to Theuri who had found a soft landing after being defeated by hon Mark Mwenje in the last elections. Compounding his woes, Theuri has been under investigation over his alleged involvement in the GENZ Revolution that took place a few months ago. Without his political cover, things might get a bit murky for the former MP. Ngunjiri Wambugu, a former Nyeri MP finds himself in the same position as Theuri.
