Naked at Olenguruone

There was drama yesterday at Olenguruone market when a man who was totally naked chased women from the market. According to Chepng’etich from Kiptagich, women in the market had just finished busines and were on their way home when a man who was “really blessed” came from nowhere running towards them.

They were at first surprised staring at him giggling but then took to their heels when he took a big stick and started coming towards them. Women with bags on their backs, others with children scampered for safety leaving some of the goods they had bought in the market. It was a rare scene in Olenguruone as something like that had not happened before. Chebii, a frequent visitor to the market said the man was not a stranger and she had no idea why he decided to undress and chase after the women that day. No one was injured
