Why Gachagua was Being Bugged

The National Intelligence Service (NIS) is the most advanced agency in Kenya and ranks third in Africa, equipped with state-of-the-art technology obtained from Mossad in Israel. Its primary role is to safeguard Kenya’s political, military, and economic interests.

When the president was informed about a conspiracy to topple the government by certain individuals, all those involved were placed under surveillance, with their movements, financial activities, calls, texts, and emails closely monitored.

Even during his official visit to Kericho, the president was aware that Murima and his associate Jowana were plotting against him.

Additionally, two other leaders from South Rift are being monitored: a current governor who has been holding meetings at his rural residence and a sitting member of the county assembly.
