Plans to remove Hon Ndindi Nyoro as Chairman of the Budget& appropriation committee

Majority leader Kiman Ichungwa has trained his guns on the Kiharu member of parliament after he failed to support the Government against impeaching hon Rigathi Gachagaua.

Hon Nyoro was absent when the votes were being cast and this did not go down well with the majority leader who now sees him as a traitor. Ichungwah has now started a narrative that Muranga Governor Irungu Kangata is the preferred choice for the next DP, these are efforts to undermine Nyoro.

Kangata has since declined to comment on the claims of the appointment saying its the prerogative of the president to make the appointment and that he was contented with serving the people of muranga. Its being alleged that, after the ouster of the DP, the position will be given to one of the leaders from Mt Kenya.

Kimani Ichungwah sees this as an opportunity to be the senior most leader in Mt Kenya if he succeeds in removing both the deputy president and Hon Ndindi Nyoro.
